My quest asked for funnel cake, but someone has bought them all and I'm not buying a 2.5 mil item for him. So I quit the quest. Started the second quest and it's for all the same items. Weird. Try a third time, and again it's all the same items. So I left the last 2 quests alone. I took screenshots but I don't know how to share them. I'd say this is a glitch or whatever because I should have gotten different items to get for him. Not the same 3 over and over.

and the funnel cake is inflated. Also, he only gives ~101k reward (I happen to get 2 from a restock)

I just had the same problem, with the same items as well. i thought it was very strange because I remember two days ago I got a quest with sticker resistance to get a 5 mil sticker, I quit, and it gave me different items.

Damn I did 2 of his quests exactly same items and same sp reward 10160 sp.

I had the same problem. He asked for a 2.5 mil item, so I gave up. Unfortunately, he then asked for the same item in the rest of his quests. I had to give up all of his beta quests today.

What is the cause of the inflation? Do we know? Is it a restocking issue? is really common rarity but there are two shops with a bunch of them. I'm thinking some items are not restocking according to their rarity and once folks get wind, they're buying up all available and hiking prices up. Contributing issue: kumos asking for same items over and over creating actual scarcity.

idk if it's just me only being active in bursts, but i feel like the economy was stable on legacy for a while. it seems Keith is driving focus away from getting more items (users have and will continue to contribute their items in CW store, which i'm sure is bringing in revenue for Subeta as well as taking stress away from hiring artists.) we see this with the Melody revamp as she is not releasing as many new items and focusing on bringing back old items, which users expressed desire for in news comments. I think the economy on kumos has a good chance at stabilizing over time. I think we all need to understand how many items are on this site in comparison to daily users. I've been here 14 years and find new items daily (especially during lumi) many including those that are retired items!!!

My last 2 wizard quests on Kumos were the same 2 items. Usually he just asks for Spell Shop items. Both items were cheap, so I didn't mind. Poison Gelatin and Yellow Summer Skirt.

Edit: sticker quest is also asking for same 3 items over and over. 🤔 Edit 2: everyone is asking for the same things. At least it was still worth doing the quests though since the items are cheap.

What is up with the Wizard Quests - 4 of the 5 quests asked the exact same items ...

White Sand (currently 125k in the shops 🙄) and the yellow skirt. I hit "give up" since the prizes don't add up to the cost of the one item. 🙄

3 of the 5 STICKER quests had the "My Love Sticker" 🤦‍♀️

I'm doing some more quests now. The Maleria quest as requested the same items again and again. Usually its Poison Gelatin, Purple Longstockings, and Green Plasmite Wand

EDIT: paeoniaceae thank you for explaining. I was wondering why i saw 500,000 sp funnel cake lol. The items somehow got stuck and people brought up the items probably.

It's just not over inflated items on Saggi quests that's an issue. Every single quest on Kumos has asked for multiple over inflated items and they're not even rare:

2mill [Item=lantern] 994k [Item=sun swampie lamp] 68k [Item=bongo drums] 60k

All items are stocking consistently, yet quests have been asking for them for a couple of days now. So all the cheap ones are gone from user shops. The new item pool is the culprit. Got changed, but isn't working as intended.
