Kumos Fishing: Results missing from results page

As of the items update, the results page for Kumos Fishing has changed to fit into a single frame. It also no longer tells us how far our final selection was from the target.
I've just received a Trash item on Expert (in the pond) which should not have been a possible distance (100+) from my last guess. This is not the first time I've received an impossible result, but now I have no idea if it gave me the wrong item pool or the wrong distance.
Why Impossible?
I had narrowed my results down to an area that was less than 100px in any direction. If the distances from my first three guesses were accurate, there is no way I could have clicked anywhere in there an been more than 100 pixels from the fish, even if I had gone as far to the edge of that box as possible. I could of course have made a calculation error or something, but the lack of information and previous errors make this both less likely and harder to prove.
