Bought and used a Can of Worms (bait item). It popped up a message saying "Column 1 eliminated!" however it didn't do anything on the game board at any point. Is it meant to just be telling me to remember not to select column 1, because it certainly didn't eliminate anything.

for me I can use the rods, but even if I have selected the worm can or other items they don't even show up on the screen to be used. I think the very first day it actually worked, I remember a column being grayed out after usage, but now it just doesn't even pop up to try. if it was one item per game I might understand but there's no option to use it before the rod either, and it seems to be built specifically so you can use one rod and one bait unless I'm very much misunderstanding?
