It always turns out my 2nd pet's build (less health & speed, more strength & defence) is superior to my 1st's. He is the one with 70 more AP, which might probably help her to get to win 25.

She managed the first 20 battles rather easily. I'm boosting 600 points with Mecha, Thunderball and (because I'm a scrooch only later, when I'm not getting any further (21 onward), also) Regenerating Pylonic.

This time I went with Blessed Trident of the Banished One & Maniacal Slappy Hand for their blessings (Bona - still curse Bug for changing them!!! ;-( , Parched, Freeze and Crit) and fared pretty well. She managed win 23, but I couldn't get her any further, because she was running out of health to sustain the last 4 or 5 rounds. Tasselled as constant, lots of freezing scrolls including Fairy, if I'd run out plus Rage of Para. Intricate Energized Helmet Volatile Energized Mecha Soma Tablets Recycle Blaster Captured Eternal Flame Thunderball

It took a lot of effort to get him to win 20, then I stopped trying with her and filled up his scrolls with 2 more Shrieks, Energy of the Para and Emerging Rifts (which I should probably exchange for one more Shriek - yet it heals 10% and for that turn "replaces" Tasselled).

In former years (when we only "needed" to loot 10 wins and everything else was "just for fun") my notebook says I used Tainted Keeper Skull Staff, Maniacal Essence "probably a little better for the later battles Swashbuckle or Trident" plus as a curse & freeze RoE.

Since it steals, I use the Ether for steal protection and try to use the SSoS for the water and wind def. Fir scrolls, I used strength of the para and a brunch of freezing scrolls. But you should probably get 25 wins easily with your pets' health and I didn't even bother getting to 25 wins anyway. lol :p

Thx for posting! Ha, I hear you talking, but my battles tell me otherwise, lol. Sadly I don't own any of the Godlies, I've been debating with myself to buy a SSoS, which is probably better than Wrath, the looks of which I just love so much. But I also need to keep a small amount of SP stashed away for the next restock of Godly Fanciful Boxes 🫣🫣

Is SSoS a godly? I don't think it is since you don't need it for the achievement. Btw, the Godly Fanciful Boxes won't restock anymore since 40 of them are all sold out and it just won't restock anymore unless they decide to rerelease it in the future. If you think bona help against the stealing problem, then you should probably go with Swash or the trident with SSoS, or just the Slappy hand with Swash may be? I really hate when my weapons get stolen and the bona just... doesn't help at all. lol

I think you need two healers in the battles, just drop the Captured Eternal Flame and Intricate Energized Helmet, the helmet itself is overrated imo, the scientist specs is a bit better if you want a freezer.

The Ether with SSoS

Yeah, between all the blessings (Thunderball, Trident) and bona I get a decent steal protection.

At first I also tried Twisted Keeper Focus, which stole a lot of his weapons, but he stole mine as well, and we die, when using his, so... I decided to change, lol. Also in the long run, I guess that set wouldn't have done enough damage.

I simply went ahead and bought SSoS, even though I wanted to wait and save, till I have enough to afford both shrugs It wasn't easy, either. With the Trident's blessing gone I had to add in Ether (or Turkey Quill - which doesn't hit hard enough, while Turkey Elixirs would do no harm to me opposed to the Legendaries ). Weird, because the Swords blessing also has a freeze/steal protection. It was hard to decide, which weapon to sacrifice for it and I chose Recycle Blaster.

edit: also I was using the Fairy whenever I was frozen, which I had forgotten pretty often before, which gave me a few extra freezes.

So did you get yourself the SoSS? Double blast is still a better option I guess so I won't drop it, just drops those freezers and use your scrolls to freeze, then you will be fine. I judge that the trident's blessings ability since it is not likely to activate most of the time to save you from stealing though.

Yes, I bought the SoSS and paired it with Slappy Hand. The Sword's blessing seems to have a higher activation rate than the Trident's. Still very close to battle end I'm getting at least one of my weapons stolen, trying without Ether again now with my girl.

Yes, that's why I prefer the Ether, SoSS and two healers. It reduces the chance of your useful weapons being stolen and have a higher chance to keep your healers. I think The OHS might be useful as well but still you have to rely on its lower blessings rate.

I was able to get 25 wins with ~27k total stats, but I had to really fish for that last win. (Do not do this if you have high blood pressure.)

Infinites were Blessed Trident, Paintbrush Blades, and Ocean Currents. (I don't think this is necessarily optimal—Swashbuckle, various godly wind-coverage combos, and/or Strength of the Paramnesia would probably be similar or better—but it worked best out of what I had on hand to try; ME didn't block enough wind and MSH was just too narrow.) I modded mostly parched and yolo'd it on the stealing, which was terrible, but EoRs are expensive enough that it was worth paying off the Healer.

The rest of the set was Mecha, double blasters, RotL/PQ, a freeze-modded Rapier of Error (any infinite-use freezer with a comparable activation rate should work here), and freeze scrolls. (I passed on an infinite-use freeze scroll in favor of more OPBs, but if you have Unstable Fairy that would be a good option when the heal'd proc.)

The algorithm goes something like:

• If starting battle, freeze and set up Mecha and blasters
• If near max health or Merana's Mantle is active, use infinites
• If at moderate health, use a freeze scroll, then try to chain it as long as possible with infinite-use freezer(s)
• Clutch heal as appropriate

I used Swashbuckle + Manifesting Weapon, with SoSS as a third weapon in case one of them was stolen. He’s just a really difficult opponent and we don’t have very many options for water and wind blockers.

The MW was good for having a chance at stealing one his Angry Polly weapons. I hate those things! I also brought in my blasters to have a chance at blasting them too.

And I didn't feel, Jacques is a low-probability stealer, I am amazed that Jess classifies Angry Polly as "Low chance to steal". He did a very good job stealing my weapons pretty often, rofl.

But you sure did an amazing job with such a low stattet pet. That's dedication! Congrats! As mentioned before, I had a really hard time with my 2 capped pets for the last 2 battles.

I'm glad, we had some extra time today - without questing and dailies and what have you, finally time to battle.

It's about 15%. My data have 30 successes out of 221 trials—with no blessings up—yielding a mean of 0.14 with 95% CI [0.09, 0.19]. I wasn't able to steal all of his weapons this year (maybe someday), but my usage frequency data strongly suggest that he has three Angry Pollys out of fourteen total weapons, for an expected 0.06 steals per turn... which with his health admittedly adds up pretty quick.
