Been seeing a loooot of complaining recently so just want to make a thread to counteract some of that- can we all shoutout some stuff we love about Subeta? I'll start:

• No algorithm / no AI / not covered in ads / no grifting / no "enshitification"
• Not pay to play
• and the rest of staff work really hard to make this site fun with basically 0 monetary incentive - they're friendly + awesome
• most people here are super nice- I feel like I've had so many interactions where people randomly gift stuff, help people with achievements, etc just because it's fun and a great community :,)
• THE ECONOMY?? I am genuinely shook at the fact that subeta has had a relatively stable economy for basically my entire time here. 10m sp = 100 CSC = $1 and it's been that way for ages, I'm really impressed the staff are able to keep that balance soo well.

Louder for those in the back, Subeta is a fantastic website. It helped me during the hardest time of my life without them knowing it. The fact that no AI, is just the cherry on top of all the wonder this website is doing.

but legit you're SO REAL for this because subeta is genuinely so so good man. it's so comforting to still have a site that i've been for over half my life (!!) up and running AND adding new stuff?? the fact keith is rebuilding the site as whole is actually crazy and i have so much respect and sure i've had my grievances with the site every now and then but even so?? i'd be gutted if anything ever happened to subeta haha no matter how many breaks i've taken i always end up here again the nostalgia is too strong ( ᐛ )و

I only joined Subeta relatively recently, but compared to a lot of the petsites out there -- old or new -- it's been very solid. Similar enough to the ones I played as a kid to bring that nostalgia factor, but with enough QoL features to blow those out of the water.

I LOVE the Human Avatars! Such great art. Come on... OVER 35000 WEARABLES!!!! And that's not even including CUSTOM WEARABLES, where you can submit your own art and have it be implemented into the site in a way that it can be bought and traded by other players. It boggles the mind. So cool.

The GAMES! The games are great, reminiscent of those old flash games sites that you used to log into against the rules at the school library. And they're cute and clever and actually fun to play. Such well designed games <3

And finally, the COMMUNITY! Like wow it's so nice to see you all, every day I boot up Subeta. Between events, random gifts, the art trade and game forums, it's all so cool <3

Honestly, I feel like I am finally getting the hang of the site (im new, just started actually playing a few days ago) and I love it! I'm having so much fun with the Morostide event! The people I've met have also been absolutely lovely so far ;o;
