How do I set up coding?

I figured out that you can place codes such as for easy event shortcuts, etc, but where exactly do I go to input these codes? I haven't used a forum like this in ages, so apologies if the answer to this is already available somewhere, I can't seem to find it! 😅 If it makes a difference, I'm using subeta on my phone. I don't have great access to a computer.

it depends on what you're trying to do with it. those holiday action buttons are useful to put in your signature during the corresponding events with your own username so other users can easily perform that action on you.
on the other hand, if you have certain users you'd like to easily do that action on (such as a handful of friends you want to make sure you dance with during masquerade), you can use the code with their usernames and put them into, say, the notepad widget in your sidebar so you can easily click them anytime.
I figured I'd put them in my forum signature and profile, which I did figure out how to do! I'm also wondering how you display your pet beneath your avatar image? Like you have with Vivisect. I know the code to use, but again I'm having trouble figuring out exactly where to input that.

What you're describing is the "pet leash" feature, which is a Gold Account feature. :)

btw you don't need to quote someone's post every time you respond to them. if you click the megaphone icon it will ping them so they'll be notified that you replied and everyone can see that it's that person's post you're responding to.
