For the new bird watching quest, I guess I don’t understand how it works. Today I am supposed to find Omen Islands Gannet, and I have been all over every section of Omen Islands and found nothing. Am I even doing this right?? Lol

You don't have to just go to Omen Islands. It could be on any page you visit. Do you have it so that things come up in the top left corner during events?

Sometimes it takes a little refreshing around the omen islands, any of the things you click on the island will also work. I have been looking for the bird watching guide to figure out where to look for mine but cannot seem to find it.

I have done many quests, purchasing items in NPC shops for page refreshes, and even just refreshing the map and haven’t had a single bird pop-up. Is this normal? Are birds very rare?

i'm 99% sure if the bird has a location in its name that means it's exclusive to that location.

Reading the comments on the bird watching news post, it looks like the regional birds aren’t working properly atm 🫤

yes I have it set so that things come up in the top left corner during events. Sounds like there’s a glitch with the location specific birds.

I believe the location name birds just suggests the most likely place that bird can be found but it's possible to find it elsewhere. I usually find the bird I need within a few clicks but I remember in the past sometimes it took a while. And sometimes it's easier to just buy the bird. Good luck.

I've been able to catch a bird every day so far. If anyone wants to have the floating items to appear in the upper left corner of the page, go to your dashboard and put this code in your Custom CSS

For the 1st time since this started I was unable to find the bird she asked for, Riverside Wren. After questing for an hour then going every where in riverside, still no bird. So I just took the 1 I had in my gallery, turned it in & put it back in my gallery. I hope everyone is having good luck with this.

I am under the impression, that the old birds are bugged again like before. I shall sooner or later today resort to one of my own Shadowglen Doves...

I am now stuck on the Sacred Lands Quail and so far have not seen it anywhere despite the custom CSS. I even looked in all the shops and everywhere but it is now apparent it is some sort of bug so I hope I will find it soon as it is WAY too expensive to buy. :)

Kinda discouraging that the first event I get to attend in years is buggy and the birds are expensive as hecc.. ill keep trying but worse case Ill just have to buy the million dollar birds anyways ^^;

I'm just glad that I have all the old birds in my gallery because apparently they aren't working. Twice I've had to take the bird I needed out of my gallery. to turn in because after searching the correct area it never showed up.

I found all the new birds almost right away. It seems to be only the old region specific birds that aren't making an appearance.
