I was scrolling through the job listings for our pets, and, honestly, when I look at the jobs, I'm focused more on whether my pet would like that job or not. How well it fits their character, y'know? Because even with a Director of SAI bringing in 30k a day, we can usually make that much with 2 or 3 quests. So, for jobs, I'm looking more at the character aspect than the money aspect.

I kinda built Hyacinth, my lilac Dillema, to be the bookworm of the group. I was training her to work at SAI, but I found out that's more of a spy thing. She's currently working at the Genetech lab, but being a mad scientist doesn't really fit her character, so I'm not sure I want her to stay in that job, either. Judging by her reaction to some books, she doesn't seem to like biology anyway. I've considered letting her work for the Subeta Tribune, but- Guess what?- she doesn't like writing, either.

She does seem to have an interest in magic, so I thought it'd be fitting if she could work for the Apothecary. That, or maybe as an apprentice for the wizard? He's a quest giver, like Maleria and Shinwa, who both have job options, and he runs the Token Shop. I want to give her some kind of magic-based job, where she actually learns to use the stuff. Not just as a servant of someone magical, like serving under Maleria or Shinwa.

In 1921 Amber asked for suggestions for new pet jobs and magic user was one of them. We got a few new pet jobs but are still waiting for the others.
