"Could you spare a Shot of Whiskey?"

I am dying of laughter typing this but I swear it's not a joke. The Dragons of Autumn in Veta Lake seem to be stuck in some kind of loop where they only ask for the Shot of Whiskey item. When I first clicked on them tonight, they asked for a grape gummy candy, but it wouldn't let me turn it in. It flipped to the shot of whiskey! And henceforth they only ask for the whiskey, over and over again.

Please help them they need nutrients not 100 whiskeys

Update: they asked for something else finally, but again, I got stuck in a loop where they would repetitively ask for ONLY that again and again and again.
