On Kumos Subeta, how does the voting goes? How are the winnings, based on the votes? Because HAs with 2 or 3 votes won, as opposed to HAs with 11 votes got squat...I don't get it...

I'm not sure which HA contest you're specifically referencing, but this might answer your question:

Contests have two phases, entry phase (a week for the sponsored one) and voting phase (about a day for the sponsored one). During the entry phase, you'll see 'hearts' and 'thumbs up' reactions, but those are not considered votes. The only votes that matter are the ones given during the voting phase. It might be that people throw out reactions, which can be given freely, but end up voting elsewhere when it counted.
