You might see a snowball on your HA for a bit, but otherwise no.
If you wear a snowball reflecting shield throwers still get credit for the snowball thrown but 80% or so of the time the snowball hits them back instead of you, so your HA stays mostly clean. , go for it! As soon as I get around to buying more snowballs I'll be pelting back.
