i went to see the dog in the alleyway for my free virus (as one does)

that was almost 6 or so hours ago, and i received a little hanging worm. i check the site just now and see that its now a clam? which according to the strain tracker is a completely different strain. is this a bug or was what i first saw just a visual glitch? and if possible (if it was a bug), would i be able to get my worm back instead of the lil clam?

(im not sure if this was the correct place to post this, or what info i should include, apologies if it's detail light)

So there was a glitch where the Flourishing virus was showing the first stage of the Moisturizing one. When they realized the issue, all the people who were infected with Flourishing got updated to the correct first stage.

If you do want the worm back, I'm afraid you would have to pay to cure and the reselect the Moisturizing option. Or if you just want to wait it out, it should take ~48 hours for your current one to mature and then you can grab the worm again.
