GOSH!! If Binturong is available... I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THEM... I missed every other opportunity to have them, 3rd times the charm?!
I've been wanting a pet I could make Laos-themed for a really long time...! Being part Lao, I just want a pet that can represent my culture and fondness for my family's home country. I've adopted this guy here Apalala because he was the closest thing, but it hasn't been fully working out. I think it just bothers me to not have something that I could connect closely to Lao culture (While Nagas are very important to Lao Buddhism, Apalala was originally found in South Asian waters and etc.)!
The Binturong is found all across South and Southeast Asia--It would be very easy for me to make a character with a Lao name who actually hailed from Laos! And I think I would be able to work on Apalala better if I made the two of them friends! ^^ Such as Apalala somehow finding himself relocated and living in the Mekong river--my binturong character could help him acclimate to his new settlement. Nagas are very, very protected and worshiped Laos, so it would work out so well...
Most of Apalala's treasure theming would go to Binturong--many vegetables and herbs, spices are used in Lao cuisine! And then I would be able to better personalize Apalala's to fit a South Asia background.

If Sugar isn't open to taking back SFX, I'd be interesting in adopting them. SFX would pair really well with my pet Michiharu which is based on the music composer Michiharu Hasuya, a Japanese composer who did music tracks for SNES in the early days ( late 80-early 90s). Admittedly, I still need to work on the profile though.
SFX being an abbreviation for sound effects/special effects would actually fit really well into that theme.
And all my spotlight wins, including most recent, are listed on my profile. Some of them are pretty old though, so yeah, their profiles are broken. Also adding in that species and gender may be changed since I already have a paralix on my account.
