I randomly got an error page that mentioned a bug where all users shared the same username. Immediately after that page cleared, I started getting an separate error when trying to start my 2nd Maleria quest. Here is the text of the error: Oops! Something went wrong We've encountered an unexpected error while processing your request. This could be because you aren't logged in, or the server is experiencing issues. We're pushing multiple times an hour, so please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please let us know in the forums.

I've been getting the error for well over an hour now, hence reporting the issue here.

EDIT: there is a login button on the error page which more or less works for logging me in - it sees that I'm already logged in a redirects me to the home page - but it does not resolve the issue.

I also tried logging out and logging back in. Also did not resolve the issue.
