man doesn't it suck when you have an item you love but just can't?? make it look good?? with anything?? ( ᐛ )و
for me that's , super pretty but i've yet to find a background it doesn't look out of place with q v q the two i've found it looks best with are and but it still doesn't look quite right to me lmao
i can't be the only one with an item i love but which doesn't seem to love me back DFGHJKL
i'm wearing it: the adorable, but the spot where the tail meets the body makes it basically impossible to wear with most bottoms without it looking extremely awkward. it just creates such a flat, perfectly straight line that i don't even like putting clothes with it.
if you have them, try pairing it with or . might work if you can work around the cutout.
I love but it doesn't work with any long hair whatsoever
oo i'll def give those a shot thank you!! :3c and man yeah that tail is so cute but the layering woes lmaooo
noo that's such a shame ;; those wings would have def benefitted from being two separate wearables rip
I have a CW I bought that I adore and absolutely can't work with. >.> The pain. But I absolutely love the idea of combining with , the colors fit so nicely together!

For whatever reason the Flower-Adorned Lasirus Skulls that started my obsession with really expensive hair can't seem to work with anything I do. I really wanted big natural hair, but I feel like the headband may be throwing things off. Same with the Coral-Covered Skull. I really like skulls though.

I combined the Nature Walk Brochure with another background to make this avatar. I also think if you try some of the snowy backgrounds they might work well because then the path looks freshly thawed for spring. Private Outfit
works well as a Mermaid. as it looks like it flows underwater. I use it for a variety of HAs

I love and it was sitting on my WL for a long time. Now that I have it, I don't know what to do with it!
try pairing it with softer, more painterly bgs like or soft/light colored bgs like . really anything that's light-colored should pair decently if you layer it well enough; you can use darker bgs, but the clouds have strings and imo they look odd when they're more visible unless you want it to look fake.
you might also be able to pair it well w/ partial sky bgs like these as a kind of transition softener:
items like the bottled rays of sunshine () pumpkin foggers () and cordials () can also help them to blend more nicely. and, of course, you can always layer items in front of them to lend them verisimilitude :3
I really enjoy making non-human avatars, but it can be super difficult to pair creature parts in an aesthetically pleasing way. Stuff like the lucky dragon mooncakes, carved dragon claws, and candied hornets have beautiful art but trying to make a matching upper half is a huge hassle. (And I don't like settling for a human upper half)
I also love the morostide candy scythes but I haven't found a fit for them because they're unfortunately too big and cover too much of the avatar's other details.
