• 🎉 parallel instance support: kumos.subeta.net now supports running multiple instances simultaneously! this lets us scale up server capacity as needed. while the mysterious melody launch showed significant improvements over composting in terms of performance, scaling is still key for future events and growth.
• 🚀 zero-downtime deployments: deploying updates no longer brings kumos offline. this improves reliability during feature rollouts or fixes and ensures uninterrupted access for everyone.
• 📦 frontend upgrades: updated vite and associated dependencies to keep the development stack current, improve build performance, and reduce potential bugs.
• ⚡ switched to bun for builds: replaced npm with bun for building. bun provides faster build times, handles multiple tasks in one tool, and simplifies the workflow, making our builds leaner and quicker.

mysterious melody (mm) improvements

• ⭐ pool quality rankings: pools now receive a star rating based on the value of their items compared to historical pools. this helps gauge the quality of contributions at a glance. for custom wearables, which often lack clear sP pricing, we’ve implemented a specialized calculation to better reflect their value.
• ⏰ new daily alerts:
  • noon alert: sends a reminder if you’ve joined a group this month but haven’t joined one today, or if you’re in a group but haven’t joined any pools at all yet.
  • 1-hour-to-reset alert: notifies you if you’re in a group but haven’t contributed to any pools that day.
