• First, please be sure to read through the rules and guidelines regarding creating and submitting Custom Clothing, found here. As well as the Intro to Custom Wearables page and Custom Wearables FAQ thread.
• Every user may have up to TWO active threads for selling custom wearable as long as the following rules are kept:
  • Each user may have ONE private shop where they sell solo.
  • Each user may also have ONE joint/collaboration shop where they sell CWs with at least one other user (and up to however many) together.
  • Each thread must be selling different items. You cannot list the same items in both threads.
  • All advertising for reselling, trading, and looking to buy custom clothing belongs in the Advertising forum.

• Each user may have ONE Custom Clothing Commission thread.
  • Users selling designs or taking commissions must at least have prices listed (examples of art is also recommended).
  • Users seeking to commission someone must have a clear idea laid out (references, a clear verbal explanation, etc, are good ways to get a point across).
  • Reminder that AI generated images are not allowed, even for references.

• Each user may have ONE discussion thread.
  • There are exceptions to this rule when a user is kind enough to put together a very useful thread.
  • All boards dedicated to "seeking Custom Wearables similar to X, Y, Z" should be posted in the Human Avatar subforum.

• If you want to start a new thread, you must wait for your current thread to reach the second page AND have it locked before you can create a new one. This also applies to recreating joint selling shops regardless which user recreates the new shop. If, however, your thread is automatically closed due to hitting the 5,000 post limit noted below, you may create a new one before the closed one has reached the second page. Note: To get a thread locked quickly please feel free to ping me with a "please lock" request, or comment me with a link to minimize any possible chance of new comments.

• Custom clothing can only be sold for Cash Shop Credits, sP, or traded for other on-site items.

  While the art for custom clothing may be commissioned on-site for USD, the items themselves fall under the jurisdiction of the site Do Not Attempt To Buy/Sell/Trade Onsite Content for Offsite Goods/Currency rule, and CANNOT be sold for off-site goods or currency.

• Refusal to sell: If you encounter an issue with any user who continuously claim slots for your CWs and does not pay, requires repeated reminders to pay, etc. you do have the right to refuse to sell to them. You may not, however, publicly post any sort of blacklist in your CW shop or elsewhere on the site. Please keep this matter private between you and that user.

  [li] Do be aware that purchasing commissioned custom clothing artwork and custom clothing items from other users is done so at your own risk. If you prepay another user for commissioned custom clothing artwork or custom clothing item and for whatever reason their account is frozen before you receive what you paid them for or they do not deliver what you paid for, we will not reimburse the prepayment, regardless how it was paid for.

  When paying for custom clothing items, we highly recommend that you only do so via the on-site custom clothing slotting/payment system.

  [li] If you request a commission from someone and they finish it, you must pay, even if you no longer want it at that point. If you do decide you don't want it, do try to let the artist know before they actually finish.

  [li] The Basic Site/Forum Rules, Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions apply to this board. If you have not read these, do so! It just might save you from doing something against the rules and getting warnings, or worse.

PLEASE NOTE: All forum threads have a 5,000 post limit. When a thread has reached 5,000 posts, it will automatically be closed/locked and have the message, "This post is locked! This thread has reached over 5,000 posts! It's time to start a new one." If a thread has been automatically closed/locked due to reaching the 5,000 post limit, a new one may then be created.

You will need to submit your custom clothing through the normal method for review. If your item is denied, the reason for the denial will be explained in the denial message.
