Why am I getting told when specific items in my shop sell?

As of this morning, I started getting Event alerts when some items in my shop (but not all items) sell. For example, I just got a notification:
"You sold Green Bunny Leotard for 134000 points in your shop Kaiba Corp Neo."
When did this start happening, why is it happening, and how do I turn it off?
Those notifications happen when Melody buys something from your shop!

Could also be because notifications are switched on under 'edit shop'

Does anyone know if there's a way to turn it off?
If you go to "Edit Shop" for your shop, there's a dropdown for "Receive Events". Change that to "No", and save, and you shouldn't see any shop events!

But does that also turn off the "You have shop purchases in Kaiba Corp Neo" message? Because I don't mind that one. I get it once and never again until I visit the shop. The Melody alert comes every time she buys something, and I've already gotten ~3 of them, which is unneeded alongside the "You have shop purchases" message.
