Hello my friends,
the results are in:
This means 61 % of our members who voted don't want to do the Luminaire Calendar like we did them in the last years. Only 38 % want to do it like 2023 and the years before.
Now I want to find a compromise to include all wishes. My idea would be: We start our calendar when most of the other Luminaire contests are done, around the start of the seasonal holidays. So we would have some traditional December days and some new January days.
The Winter Wonderland CW Contest would start at 21th of December 2024 (Winter Solstice) and end at 1st of February 2025 (Candlemas) to establish our very own Colovaria tradition.
You would have 2 - 3 days for a design, one more day when during the week, 2 days at the weekend.
I would love to hear your opinions about this possible arrangement.
