The last new book released through a regular shop (that is, not an event shop like Esther's, Freyalise, or the Steamworks Menagerie) was in July 2018.

Maybe 2025, will be the year that many books are released through the normal NPC shops crosses fingers :)

Wow, I hadn't realized this! I guess I'm so used to seeing books during holidays that it didn't cross my mind! It would be cool to have some new items drop in the Book Nook for sure.
