While I like the idea of the composting event, I think the timing is prohibitive for newer players. The only real item options for composting were morostide items; key morostide items. Having limited time rewards for "throwing away" holiday items while the holiday is going on will deter newer players.

I joined this year and I understand the need to have a sink for overflow items from events, but maybe the timing should be adjusted. Maybe make the compost for each holiday's items take place at a random other time in the year and/or use an internal calculation that takes stock of which holiday has too many items in circulation/deflated.

I'm a bit too committed to achieving as much as I can as quickly as I can, so I was able to collect all pumpkins, uniquely eat a lot of them and also compost the max daily so far. BUT, it took a lot of time that I honestly did not enjoy and I couldn't even get started on the deleting achievement (1000 is a lot, not to mention: one by one). I've stocked up on some extra for the coming compost days, but I wonder how expensive it may become now that the holiday is over.

In summary: I like the compost event, and it will help keep older players interested and the economy more balanced, but I think changing the timing will help newer players from becoming overwhelmed/discouraged.
