I'm working on the Shop Till Saver achievement and frankly I'm getting kind of annoyed being told every five seconds that I have a new purchase. I've looked through my preferences and haven't been able to figure out if there's a way to disable this event or turn it off? Any answer would be much appreciated.

If you go to Edit Shop for the shop you don't want to see events from, there's a checkbox for "Disable Events from this shop".

Your shops

Go to your shop in question, click Edit shop and there will be a check box that says: Disable Events from this shop, check it and then... no more events. :D
