Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but the battle guide is missing tier 4 weapons? I see several other people questioning best weapons, but I don't actually where they are listed... I used SubetaLodge and found a way to see the tier 4 weapons, but it doesn't put them in any sort of order to tell me which is the best to use. I mostly want to fight BD challengers for achievements and am slowly starting to train one of my pets. Any help and insight on a good tier 4 build would be greatly appreciated!
There was a glitch on the forums a few years ago where posts that went over a certain length accidentally got cut off. The weapon guide was one of the threads affected.
Good things to have in tier 4 are:
- full blocker that blocks all incoming damage once per battle
- 100% freezer once per battle, available in the Battle Shop
- there are other shrines, too, if you have them, but this one is the cheapest to buy. It activates a blessing that helps block dark, earth, and wind damage for 10 turns.
- a 100% once per battle healer. It scales with your pet so you will essentially be using it for your entire battle career :P
- another good once per battle healer
- the best bomb in tier 4. You can transform one from a Scavenged Bow and Quiver, which is much cheaper to buy.
Those are all once per battle weapons. For your infinite use weapons (or constants), that becomes a little tricky. Tier 4 has a lot of old collection items just due to the way they decided to do things back when the tier system was created.
If I had to pick out two to use, Iβd probably go with: & . Those have solid defensive coverage and a nice amount of attack icons.
thanks so much! I will go look into these items and see which ones I can invest in ^_^
I was using: Armored Groblen & Explosive Dark Matter Die on turn one followed by Mystical Star Shuriken & Burning Hot Holiday Bulb then if I needed any final damage I had a Flintlock Rifle & Pie bomb.
Is there a best order to use certain items in for most fights?
Using the weapons I posted as an example:
I typically do on the first turn for a full block of incoming damage + a freeze
Then, while the opponent is frozen, use my next once per battle items like . Since theyβre frozen, I donβt have to worry about any defense.
Constants are up next: since Iβll be using them for the majority of the battle
Finally, healers are last for when my health gets low. Keeping them - and anything else you wish - behind your infinite use weapons ensures you donβt accidentally use them before you mean to.
Iβd say the only important part is putting the items you want to save for later at the end of your set. The rest is negotiable :P
thanks so much for the info and helping me better understand, I truly appreciate your time ^_^
now it's time to save up for some new BD goodies and start kicking some booty
