Id love to find more artists to follow and hope to find more people who wanna see my art as well. I'm personally really picking up steam in getting myself working and anticipate eventually selling stickers at least by the end of the year. And hey if you have advice for building a brand as an artist also feel free to share as I'm mediocre as heck at this.

Much appreciated! Gave you a follow back. Honestly it feels like a less addicting and more chill version of twitter. Even if it never becomes as popular as twitter there are enough people on there that its enjoyable. Especially the number of artists on it! Im generally trying to reduce my use of both twitter and youtube as it has been horrible for me anymore.

I have been feeling the same way about Facebook. If things would work like they are suppose to on my phone I would be on there less. But a few important groups I need to follow.

Yeah, that's part of the reason my twitter still exists, for some accounts I look to for news and updates about things I like that haven't moved.

Literally all I wanna do is look at art and on twitter the drama and arguments and politics and hostility trickle in no matter how much I try to mute people and adjust "what I want to see" on the app. Plus, I hate the video implementations that allow you to scroll endlessly like shorts. I get locked in and have my time siphoned away.

Seriously that's been happening? I've been much less intensely using either twitter or bluesky anyway so I guess nothing like that has been showing up for me. I suppose that's a good thing that my usage has starkly dropped though I can't stand social media anymore.

oh yeah, unfortunately :( I probably see more of it because I'm active in a few marginalized communities in these places (like the Black community, queer community, disabled, etc.) in addition to following artists and random pages. Bluesky does have some real good people on there. It's just unfortunate how hate has been allowed to leak into so many social media platforms!
