Vending isn’t something I’ve tried out on here before…and when I do try it, I don’t see the point, because of all the junk. So, I have two questions…

1. Is it worth it? 2, Which machines are best?

I remember there being a topic about vending machines years ago, but I can’t find it now!

Ocean Depths is generally considered the 'best' machine as it pulls from a slightly higher rarity pool than the others + has a small chance of vending a Riptide, but some of the other machines also have a small chance of vending donation presents. the Subeta Wiki does have some articles on the machines regarding what keywords they use etc, but I'm not sure how up to date they are!

personally i use vending for frag fodder while working on the vending maniac achievement, but yeah, most of the time the stuff you get from vending isn't crazy rare.

I found that I use a lot of vended items in quests - when I do a shop search for a quest item it will show up as being in my shop so I can use it for the quest.

If an item is priced in your shop it will show up in Shop Search with a Remove button beside it instead of a Buy button. The item is then put into your inventory.
