Hello Subeta and all forum users,

I just wanted to take a minute and finally introduce myself. I joined Subeta within the last week after having some nostalgia and a desire to play a virtual pet site like Neopets. I did try Neopets again but after all these years and through all of their changes, I just found myself disliking what it is now. So, searching the internet, I discovered Subeta and have been surprisingly addicted to it, more so than I'd like to admit.

I am still trying to learn how to navigate everything and learn the basics, but I hope to meet some new people and make some new friends while on this journey. Any tips, tricks or pointers are appreciated.

Welcome! Have a look at this pet if you need some help figuring some things out. I'd suggest doing some quests to start earning SP currency then work from there.

Thank you! I feel like I have been able to navigate things pretty well so far and it has improved with the pet bio guide provided above. Earning in game currency seems easy enough and doesn't seem to make goals feel impossible to achieve which is a great relief. I have also already got the color of one pet the I highly desired. So I am really enjoying it and overly obsessed with the collection factor.

no need to apologize! It's going to take time to learn it all! I hope you enjoy yourself here. I know I haven't left since I joined almost 18 years ago....On and off sometimes but I always find my way back.

One thing that I appreciate on Subeta is that "retired" items still have ways to be re-released, so compared to Neopets (or the neopets I knew from a few years back), a newer user doesn't really get locked out of collecting items.

Thank you for bringing that up. I was kind of starting to worry about some of the retired items. Wanting to complete some of the collections but seeing some of the price being far out of my range at the moment.
