I am wondering because procreate is my go to art program and wanting to know if anyone has had any success making custom wearables using this app.

If so what is your resizing method?

I know it needs to be within the same ratio, but when I do this and resize it to the proper smaller size, there is still a lot of quality loss.

I found a method that worked for custom pet overlays, but the same thing doesn’t seem to work for the smaller CW images.

I know that the rules of what is required for one to be accepted is a lot more strict for CWs, so just kinda trying to figure out a good method that would work.

Want to make a few tributes myself rather than commissioning them ^^

I don't use procreate so I can't speak on that behalf, however have you tried adjusting the canvas size itself? I have the same issue when I try to use a canvas that's too big. Also, using a size that is easily multiplied or divided by the original canvas size helps when resizing. For example:

64x64 > 128x128 125x250 > 250x500

I hope that helps! ❤️

Hey there! :3 Yeah I did look into some tutorials that said to use a 128 x 128 and 250 x 500 then resize, so thats what I have been doing. :3

For overlays someone someone gave me a good technique that involved some opacity changes/sharpening and resizing the lineart separately , but I don't know if its working with the smaller size canvas or perhaps the brushes I'm using, but it just doesn't seem to do the trick for the CWs like it does for the overlays :(

I feel like it's already going to be difficult to perfect the line thickness/subeta quality, but I want to be able to tackle the image resizing and make sure I am able to get it good quality before I even waste my time trying to perfect all that ^^'
