Also play Mystic Spindles and you can expand it with some odd items like geeky fruit, just make sure to use the read to option on the odd items

if you're still playing Mystic Spindles for Intel, it doesn't go up automatically. You have to buy the intelligence points for your pet with points you earn in the game.

The higher your pet's intelligence is, the more mystic spindles points needed to raise it's intelligence by one. So if it's already kind of high , it's probably better to use the points to buy books in the shop.

Your milage may vary, but for me it gets too tedious when my pet's intelligence is around 25 or so. If your pet's already past that, then books and boosters are probably better.
