So I've been working on my pet Salamando off and on for a long time. I know the combined stat cap is 35,000 I believe, but I am wondering what kind of stat spread I should be aiming for overall? Like what numbers should I aim for for each stat in general? I know I'm a very long way from really having to worry about this but I definitely don't want to make a choice I'll regret later on. Also just in general what stats would be worth me focusing on at Salamando's current level that would make him fare better at his current tier.

I went to look at your pet's stats and noticed your note about Meatslab. Those stats looked familiar; they were my pet's stats when I beat Meatslab. Lol I recall mentioning how much difficulty I had with those stats (over 600 losses!)

As for stat spread, hopefully you'll get feedback from others. I went with roughly 10k health and 10k strength. I don't think you can really go wrong with whatever build you decide. I personally would make sure to keep my health and strength on the higher end. That's not to say that other builds won't work. My second pet is being trained now. I intend to keep my health/strength/defense about the same and let speed lag behind a bit.

Your pet's AP looks great! I think his stat spread looks good too!

Oh wow! I actually forgot I even had a note about meatslab on Salamando's profile!

And that's good to know! I was looking at other people's battle pets to see if I could notice a trend and I was noticing health and strength has the highest numbers usually but I also wanted to be sure. I super appreciate the input!

Definitely a long way to go before the cap, but never hurts to keep in mind. There really isn't a wrong way to build your pet unless you do something really extreme like 20k speed. Then that's less point you can put towards other stats. There are positives and negatives to every build. High speed avoids crits and allows you to crit in return (so long as your strength is high enough to break through opponent defense!). High defense makes your pet more effective with the defense icons on weapons and scrolls so long as they cover icons your opponent uses against you. High strength can help end battles quickly and combos well with high speed, but that can leave you with less defense. High health is good to buffer blows since you cannot block opponent attacks 100% of the time. You can go with an all even build, but you may find you don't have enough health to tank hard hitting blows. I have two capped builds, one with high strength/speed (10k, 8.2k+) and another with high health/strength (13k,9k). Both do well against all challengers. My second pet has an easier time farming high wins only because he can equip more scrolls since they both have access to the same weapons regardless of AP.
