Is it worth buying and using?

It has been a staple in my set since the dawn of time ;-) ... and has become even more useful with the weapon revamp.

Adding 250 each for: strength, defence and speed is not insignificant for any pet. Add a Thunderball and Cronus, Malice,... and you have a pet with way over 500 more points in 3 stats!

1st round (or whenever user deems appropriate) 33% healing backup (not counting as healer) with or without an initial freeze can make THE difference for survival.

100 rounds of a 9 icon curse is a huge help esp. in longer battles.

With now 18 Physical defence blessing for basically the whole battle mostly lets me neglect physical defence in my weapon set completely.

Lastly just 125 additional healing every round can easily save your life, esp. considering, most of the other weapons are capped anyway at around 450 now.

Every battler has a different approach, but Mecha and Helmet in my opinion were a significant game changer. Before I owned one, I was lucky to be able to borrow one from a friend for the event then and it did indeed carry me through!

Thunderball and Cronus aren't for sale but I've just made a note of Malice for the future.

Just in case you are unaware, you can make a Volatile Energized Mecha with components you buy with Battle Tokens you've earned. It's the same with the Intricate Energized Helmet. I waited until I could build one on my own. It's a staple in my weapon set!

I was lazy and decided it was quicker and easier to buy one from a user shop. I made somebody's day by doing that

I suppose you've probably outgrown Malice at T11 and beyond (still a nice weapon with its curse, even though it may have been robbed of its freezing - not gonna take my freeze mods off for testing myself). It simply came to mind as a stat enhancing weapon. I got it with my points from the first Reading Drive and it's still a little expensive at the Antique Shop - mind you, probably cheap compared to what it cost book point wise, rofl.

I've used the the Volatile Energized Mecha with both my battle pets now and am very pleased with it.
