Hi all, I am Yanisha, a socially awkward fortysomething who loves online games but has never learned to feel comfortable using forums. Don´t get me wrong, I like talking to people, I just don´t feel too comfortable doing so via forums. I do play Flight Rising and a bit of Chicken Smoothie with the same Username, so if it feels kinda familiar, there you might have the reason why. Englisch is not my first language, though I think I am quite capable of using it properly, but (correct me please if this is not allowed) if anybody wants to pm me in german, feel free to do so =D I like art, fanfiction and roleplay, though not forum style. I prefer face to face or online alternatives that allow me to actually talk to my fellow player(s). Currently, I try my hand at gardening on my balcony, so talk about that is very welcome, too. Concerning this site, I registered about a week or so ago and enjoy spending time here. If you find that I put a sticker into your sticker album - it was on your wishlist, and the Mahor told me to =D No need to give anything back, but I will always be happy if something gets returned. Well, yeah. Ahm, awkwardness ist starting. If anybody wants to know more, feel free to ask. Concerning my Englisch - it was one of my master courses at school, and I´ve constanty used it since then, reading books, watching videos, talking to people - I´ve working in service for a long time and had occasion to test my language skills on all kinds of people, because every traveller wants a coffee, a tea, some sweets or other refreshments from time to time. Especially American tourists always told me about my "lovely accent" and told me how good my englisch was - especially thetimes when I insisted I´ve gotten a bit rusty because I had underused the language. I guess I try to say thanks for the compliment agfain, without repeating the thank you =D

If you're ever stuck, don't be afraid to jump onto the forums: Us veteran players will always help out. Also, it would be a wise idea to ask around to see if they would be willing to become friends on here: That way it would be a bit easier to do some of the achievements, and you would have someone, or several someones, who would always be willing to lend a hand, especially during the holiday events :)

Yeah! For awhile, I never touched the forums but then I decided I really wanted to get a Bumbus. But everyone on the forums has been really nice! It is cool that you can play, though, in your own way.

True. Everyone basically plays on here in their own way. Make sure to check the forums during the holiday-related events as players will run contests where you can potentially win wishlist items, CSC, and more, so someone who is also socially anxious like myself, will join in on the fun occasionally :)

I´m mostly enjoying myself, and found a few friends along the way, too! I still feel kinda shy to post in forums, but that is getting better as well, and I try to participate in at least a few user-run forum games. CSS baffles me to no end, though I can code my dragons bios on Flight Rising, maybe that will get better with time, too. Thanks for the links, I´ll be sure to check on them, especialy the CSS-related one!
