on forums some people have stars under their usernames, what are they for?

@ BeanieBOO they reflect how many forum posts the user has. each star represnts 750 posts, with a maximum of 6 stars. you can see how many posts you have by hovering over your username—it's the number next to the little speech bubble.

for the record, this was just asked and answered in the help & questions subforum (Stars in user profile), which is where these kinds of inquiries should go. it's always worth checking there to see if your question has already been addressed by someone else. it's also worth checking the stickied rules topic most subforums have (this one's is [topic not found]) if you're not sure how a given subforum is meant to be used. it's easier for the people who can answer your questions to find them if they're in the places where those people know to look for them.
