i've just started a small collection of Australian themed foods in one of my pet's treasure chests... but i think it might remain small haha because Australian food isn't very well known

you could go for a more multicultural angle - some asian foods maybe, like dim sum, banh mi, etc. also i might be biased as a victorian, but coffee items/breakfast food (the ol avo on toast) for our 'cafe culture' ?

the jam doughnut and the poached avo on toast are the best ideas, thanks so much! (and i have both of those items in my vault coincidentally) might search for some coffee items too. i'm from qld and our cafe culture is pretty vivid (maybe not as vivid as melbs tho haha)
