The Pet Name search doesn't seem to be working so are there any alternatives?

The name not the ID. Supposedly you can search for pet names on the Subeta Search but no matter what name you put in it says "not found."

the search function is broken, so unfortunately there's no longer any way to see all pets with a certain name, or whose names contain a particular word. but if you know the name of the pet and owner you can use this URL:

https://subeta.net/pets/OWNERNAME/PETNAME

for example, the URL for my pet frosix's profile would be: https://subeta.net/pets/frenchi/frosix

now, because he already had that name before pet names were made non-unique, his profile can also be reached by: https://subeta.net/pets/frosix

that said, if you're just trying to see if a pet name is already taken, you don't need to worry about that anymore. you can name your pets anything you want, even if other people have already used the name.

Ok. Godd to know. I know about using the user name but I was just curious to see how many pets had the name. I know that they're not locked anymore.
