How long does it take for pets to get hungry? For the past week I've been working towards the Gourmand achievements on one of my pets and made good progress, but last night I fed my pet and today its still full. That hasn't happened before so I wasn't sure if the time it takes for them to get hungry changes or is variable or if its a glitch.

Also I'm just starting this achievement for the first time so any tips are welcome or if you know of a thread.

There's a hunger pool that you can use once a day to help feed more items faster. Also feed everything possible. Some items have more than one use. Like some foods are also plushies or minions. So check items as you get them. Also start a gallery or special section in vault to hold onto foods so your inventory doesn't get clogged up waiting to feed items.

It's glitched right now. Probably related to the list of things that didn't reset at midnight.

once this glitch gets fixed and you're able to feed again, there is one more note on gourmand. There are a very few foods that give your pet more than 1 food "value" - so you might want to make note of these and make sure to only feed them to your pet when they are at 9/10, so you can maximize feeding.

This Foods that Decrease Hunger More Than 1 Point has the list of higher value foods. The topic is locked, but you can still use it as a reference and its also current and accurate.

Also, for future reference, pet hunger gets checked every hour and can be reduced from 0-2 (I'm not sure the exact range). So sometimes your pet won't lose hunger, and sometimes it will lose more than 1, but typically it will lose 1 hunger point every hour. LOL, when the system isn't glitchy, of course.

Thank you all for the advice! :) I am just starting and I haven't even reached 500 foods yet but I've been collecting various foods for years so if I can bare to permanently feed them to my pet it will help. My end goal is the HA border at 9000 items. Hopefully by the time I get anywhere near that goal I can skip the gross foods but time and holiday releases will tell.
