I am clueless how to play this game. I would love any advice, besides read the rules. I have tried that and it didn't help. LoL

If anyone else is having trouble with a game and looking for help feel free to post here. :)

explaining it is kinda hard but essentially you can typically play one card per turn (unless you play a card where the description says you can play another) your goal is to directly attack the "maze" since you are the "mahar" you can have up to 2 active effects at a time (one that helps you avoid traps, or heals you etc) - these are usually minions etc. the maze will often use traps to do damage.

the Maze can play a guardian (the middle creature) which each have their own effect and do damage to you. there are some cards that let you make them useless or turn them on back on your opponent. they can sometimes block you from being able to do damage to the "maze" until defeated. the guardian health bar is the dots next to the card. damage can come from direct cards that say "do x amount of damage" or from an "ailment" like bleeding or poison. the card cast to cause the damage specifies and it's a colored dot where your health dots are. your goal is to knock down all 30 of their health first. it takes some time but once you read what each card does it helps!

it's kinda hard to explain unless you've ever played real world card games like it but hopefully this helps a little bit?

try using cards that heal you, cards that turn the guardian card back against your opponent, and ones that do direct maze damage to them. there is a buff card of +2 damage that is great to play right before using direct damage cards! with one you can do direct opponent damage and roll a die to see if extra damage is done to the guardian or opponent which is kinda like a freebie bonus!
