This may be a bit of a silly question, but I was wondering if all overlays had to be full body skins, or if we could use them to make partial edits to a pet - such as giving your wyllop a fun bandana but otherwise leaving them unchanged.
I took a glance at the rules, and while rule ("Fullbody artwork only - no busts/headshots.") would seem to be what I'm looking for, I'm not sure it applies. I'm not looking to cover over my pets in such a way that it obscures the full body pose, but rather hoping to apply a small shape over the base pet, with everything else being fully transparent. I think such an item might qualify as a "prop"???
This could just be me being thick and/or overly optimistic about the potentiality of giving everyone top hats and canes without having to draw a new, full body pose each time, but I thought I'd go ahead and ask for exact clarification on the matter anyway.
Thanks for hearing me out. I'm not really on this account much, so despite it's age, I'm still pretty much a newb.
You don't need to edit the whole art, in my experience. My pet Zacharie only has a mask and money bag added to the original pet art. You would want to upload the full image you intend to use though, so the pet art with your additions on it, and not just the transparent additions by themselves.
Your CSC is also refunded if they do end up rejecting the overlay for some reason
