I really like to try and figure things out for myself, but I had just a few teeny tiny questions I couldn't quite work out on my own.

First, is there a way to search the forums? I feel like I could have answered a lot of my questions easier if I could just search key words for existing topics.

How do I actually play the Subeta Tiles game? I see the little intro but when I click the game menu link it just reloads the same page.

How do I make the bugs appear for The Bug Game? I clicked and waited for a bit, but none ever appeared.

Is there a way to keep a pet happy, but not full so I can work on food achievements? If not, is there an easier way to keep them happy than just toys. And does the happiness thing actually matter or am I good to leave it at 0? Personally I'm happy if I've been fed, but apparently Acorn doesn't agree.

Is there any purpose for putting sP in the vault? I don't see an interest thing and it seems like all the random events here are friendly.

And finally, can someone explain how exactly the forum groups work? The description makes it seem like its just for pinging a group of people. Is it kind of like guilds on Neopets where they have their own little chatboard?

Pet happiness: Give your pet a minion and the happiness level will stay at 9/10 and 10/10. You can't battle if your pet has 0 happiness or food (this is where the resort is useful). There's something about Major Drills and happiness too but someone else will fill you better than I can.

Vaults don't have interest. You just store sp in it. When I started here I thought I read something about not having too much sp on you at once because of the risk of a negative event. I've never had it happen to me but then again I don't typically keep several million sp on me at once. I mainly use it as a way to control spending money when saving.

Can't help with the other questions. I'm curious about forum groups too.

Unfortunately, both the Bug Game and Subeta Tiles are also broken at the moment for some users (Subeta Tiles works for some, myself included, but not everyone. I believe the Bug Game is broken across the board) The Bug Game ! Subeta Tiles game isn&;t showing up at all, it&;s only showing the story

If your pet has a minion attached, it'll keep their happiness full. But there's also no penalty for having a pet that's unhappy.

There's no reason to stash your sP in the vault if you don't want to. I don't think even the zapper will affect it, so the only risk is you accidentally spending it with a misclick or something lol

Forum groups can have their own private forums. Some groups are sort of like Neopets guilds where the members will hang out and chat and maybe do forum games or HA contests, etc. You can look in this forum section if you're looking for a group like that to join. But some groups are just for alerting the people in them to certain things. For instance, this group gets pinged if Merana is currently visible on the world map so people can turn their pets Hydrus colored. Custom wearable releasers usually have ping groups to alert people to new CWs they're releasing. There are ping groups that get notified every night for Battle Quest (when they're available) and Bathhouse visit resets, etc. c:

There used to be, but it tended to break the site so it was taken down. Its unlikely to be fixed/added anytime in the foreseeable future.

The only way to search the forums is through Google (and I found it doesn't work very well, but you sometimes do get lucky). From another thread:

one question Im sure will pop up eventually(as iirc its not mentioned anywhere except the forums) is when training stats(health, strength, defense. speed) can all go 2.5 times higher than your pets current level. the higher the level the longer it takes and more expensive it becomes

And just a small fact from a long time user: there used to be interest in the vault (between 10-15%) but iirc people complained about those differences (i think they were randomly determined while creating your account) and then it was removed.

What is pining and what is it used for and how do you ping someone or something... so confused about this...

Pinging is done by either hitting the little megaphone button in the top right next to someone's post or by typing out their username with an @ symbol in front of it or, for usernames with a space or special character in them, by putting it inside of brackets like this: []

It sends the user a notification that they've been mentioned on the forum thread so that if you're replying to someone specific, they'll be more likely to see it
