Price Check Forum Rules

I see these recently got changed updated (but maybe the old post was just replaced?)

really this rule barely ever made sense, and noone ever does it. Not sure its really needed anymore. If anything they should post the item inside the item tag so people helping out and get the quick links to search/trades ect.

There are pretty legitimate reasons for price checking a item that is listed at 100mil on shop search, especially when new. And the part about trades doesn't really make sense either, since if I post an item on the trading post for 2billion sp, and someone is wanting to know if thats a reasonable price, it seems very reasonable to make a board asking.

I haven't ever seen it happen, but this seems like a very easy rule to abuse to scam people.

On the price check board in particular, this is again probably bad advice, and I would probably make the rule the opposite - never change the title of the board, it makes it much more difficult for people searching for the same information to find it.
