I've been the definition of an off and on player for yeeeeeears but I'm on again! And oddly feeling like chatting this time. I also recently returned to Neopets after more than 20 years (I'm in my 30s), but having played so much Subeta in the meantime, that actually inspired me to come back here where all the features I enjoy are actually available😂 No shade to Neopets, it still makes me want to throw on a Matchbox 20 album and drink a vanilla coke and get very nostalgic (and I made some cute new pets so I won't give it up just yet). A while ago I started my themed pet pages and stories so I'll probably get back to that. I love building pet treasure so there's that to do always. Aaaand I've been getting back to drawing so hopefully I'll find a way to incorporate that too. Anyway this is very much a breakfast ramble without enough coffee so I'll stop here...

Hi and welcome back! I'm also in my 30s and coming back to Subeta after years. I haven't returned the Neopets since I wasn't a fan of how the site was changing and my account was unfairly frozen :( But I'm loving that Subeta is still a great site. It's nice to experience the nostalgia while also exploring the newer features. Maybe I'll go back to MapleStory too lol

Neopets is a bit of a mess -- I'm considering remaking my pets in their closest Subetan versions and perhaps retiring from Neopia once again. Sometimes I like the jankiness for the nostalgia factor but I believe that's starting to fade...

Been a while since I returned myself but I'm back after a very long hiatus but am glad to be back and say welcome back to everyone!

Welcome back! I'm also a long time member who has periods of high and low activity on the site. It's so nice to enjoy something safe and simple, and there's so much to do that it's hard to get bored here!

Safe and simple is exactly the vibe. I'm going to keep looking around for more fun things to do~

My normal "flow" is questing, popping things in my shops and autopricing, playing games, chatting on forums, and working on pets (story, TC, profile). It's so low pressure and I appreciate it now more than probably ever!

That's sorta where I'm at if a bit more scattered -- doing a few dailies, quests as I feel like. I'll usually play around with my HA for a bit especially if I've come across new wearables. It's like a dress up game from "back in the day" so I always enjoy that. Gathered goodies get autopriced in the shop to pay for pet treasure, mostly. Once in a while I like to do a big "grocery shopping" trip for the pets and get them themed food to eat, but right now they're all in the resort because it was stressing me out to see them all getting hungry, lol. Pet treasure and galleries (effectively my own treasure) are such a blast too, I'm such a decorative clutter hoarder if I let myself be, and this is a no/low cost and space saving way to get that out, haha. I think this go around is the most I've used the forums in ages though! I'm usually not good at socializing and chatting and whatnot but the subeta crowd is so friendly, and hey, if I'm getting the "please stop talking about your current obsession" look....at least on the internet I can't really tell.

For quests, juuuust in case you don't know - do Shinwa first! Once you finish your other quests you won't be able to do hers and she fairly often gives items that sell for 100-200k

I really love that you can create (save) outfits now in the wardrobe and go back to wear them again later if you'd like. It makes it so when inspiration strikes or I'm playing around a love what I come up with I don't have to wear it then and there! That way if I do more than one in a day I can save them for later. I also like that you can "show all site items" and "hide CWs" because when I get stuck I can look at that for ideas.

I absolutely use the resort. I can't keep up with feeding and playing with all my pets all the time. I can't even bring myself to collect their income most days because it's so much clicking. LOL.

Hahaha yes. I use Subeta to curb my desire to go out and buy myself a molecule of serotonin, I mean a random goodie IRL.
