kind of struggling to decide which hair to go with for this outfit i'm working on...

i like the warmth and shape of the first hair, but i don't love its lack of contrast with the pink choker, and i'm not sure if i love the green choker instead (i feel like it's just a teensy bit too vibrant and stands out too much, but i might just be getting neurotic about this). similar feelings about the second pair of options, but i keep going back and forth between which of these first two hairs i like better in terms of the actual shape/style of the hair. the last hair i enjoy for the way it coordinates with the minty green from the shoes and sleeves, but it skews the overall color palette into a much cooler range—which is not a bad thing, but i'm not sure if i prefer it over the other options.

when i get to this point i tend to get really in my head about every little detail, so i'm curious: in other people's opinions, do any of these options stand out as having more immediate visual appeal over the others?

I like 2A and 2B best, but I see what you mean about the pink choker blending into the hair and agree that the green one is a little too vivid.

How about instead? It contrasts without standing out too much and the star itself kind of matches the hair clips more (I know it's silver and they're green but on my screen at least, they seem to go together). And the yellow band matches the other necklace. If you don't like the yellow choker, I think the pink one is best. Very cute outfit anyway, whichever one you decide on!

I know how it feels to get to this point, it happens to me all the time!!

I think I'll go with 2B. At first I was leaning toward the first hair, with 1A being my favorite, but after taking a better look at the second (in 2B) I realized I like it more with the rest of the outfit as I think it gives the avatar a more standing out silhouette. I also love how the purple part of the hair makes the warm top part stand out here. Very pleasing to look at. (I apologize if I worded this strangely. English is not my first language and I've rarely discussed artistic stuff using it ^^; )

I have always loved your HA's and this is an awesome design! :)

Edit: The green choker doesn't look too vibrant to me in 2B (though it could be my screen). I agree it's a little too vibrant next to the hair in 1B, but it looks great in 2B with the rest of the minty greens on the sleeves and shoes.

@ Synth interesting, i hadn't noticed but you're right that the star on that choker reads as greenish rather than silver in the overlay! another nice option, but then there's the yellow of the choker in such close proximity to the yellow of the hair... much to consider. tysm :)

i think i agree with you both on preferring the second hairstyle, but i'm still debating the choker color (and now i'm getting caught up with adjusting other tiny details like the eyes/brows and whether or not to add nail polish lol). might have to sleep on it......

I do like option 3 the best, but I prefer cooler overall tones. if that's not what your feeling, I think option 2A is the best for a warmer tone. the choker is still subtle with that one, but not completely lost like with A1. it's a small detail, but I can't get over the green choker having a red pendant, which just doesn't match the look. I also just like the look of the teal being on the top (hair or hair clips) and bottom (shoelaces) with more pinks and purples in the center. I think that gives it a nice flow, and the green choker breaks that flow a little bit. all options look cute, though. I see how tough your decision is.
