HI! Is there a place that I can find out what some items do (if anything)? I understand like the potions/elixirs like chibi or sweatheart etc but some items I do not understand...can someone help explain or direct me to a place? I tried SubetaWiki on somethings but didn't understand (like token and layer card).

You have to be wearing a zombie skin in order to do this (which are unlockable during Survival in February) Coda Cave crystals are used for the quest that turns your pet Galactic The Essence of Melody is used at Vanya with either a nostalgic toy or nostalgic instructions to turn your pet Nostalgic. If you bring him the instructions, you have to do a quest to bring some additional items as well or you can just take the toy and essence there directly:

the SubetaWiki is kind of weird and outdated. you'll want to bookmark Subetalodge, an essential fansite that will tell you pretty much everything you need to know about items, including how to get them, what they're used for, etc. it also has a lot of other great resources, like checklists to keep track of your collections, images of all pet species and colors, a feature to search for minions by various criteria, and more.

to answer your questions about the items you've listed in your post:

Experimental Dew – selecting the "experiment on ____" option will transform that pet into a random experiment species (in its common color). you also have a chance of getting experiments by using the zapper, but unless you pay the additional 400k sP for a guaranteed experiment, the zapper can have other effects instead.

the next two items you have listed are for the alchemy crafting system, which is only accessible if you are wearing a zombie skin. you can unlock zombie skins during the Survival holiday in February, and once they are unlocked, you can put them on and take them off in the "skins" tab of your wardrobe whenever you want.

Alchemy Token: Plushie – when crafting an alchemy item, you first need to select a token. this will determine what kind of item will be made—so this token will create a plushie. you can use just the token to craft a random plushie, or combine it with tinctures to further narrow down which plushie will be crafted. you can see a list of possible plushie creations, as well as which tinctures make which plushies, here.

Layer Card: Fullbody – if you use a wearable token instead, you will make a clothing item. in addition to tinctures, you can use layer cards to once again narrow down the possible outcomes, this time based on which wardrobe layer the item is categorized under. you can see a list of fullbody wearable items made through alchemy here.

Green Coda Caves Crystal – all the colors of Coda Caves Crystals can be randomly obtianed by digging in the coda caves, which are only open during the 6th and 7th of every month. (of course, you can also just buy them from user shops for a fairly low price.) the crystals can be given to Iltallo the Nomad to transform one of your pets into the galactic color. note that once you start Iltallo's quest, you can't quit it, so only start it if you're sure you want to turn that pet galactic.

Essence of Melody – this is a yearly achievement reward for visiting Melody a certain number of days during Luminaire (the holiday we're celebrating right now for all of December). it is used in Vanya's quest for creating nostalgic pets. first you will bring Vanya a set of instructions, as well as a few other items he requests; doing so will give you a nostalgic toy. you can then bring him this toy and the Essence of Melody to "bring the toy to life"—this will transform your ACTIVE PET into the one represented by the toy (so make sure the pet you want to transform is active before you do the quest).
