Why is undercutting seen as taboo here? On other petsites it's usually fine to do that to combat stuff like inflation and to encourage people to visit your shop first. I'm curious!

I mean if you make your item's price TOO much under the current usershop price then someone will buy it and resell it for the current value to profit. Happened to me before when I forgot a digit. Can't blame them though, hustle is hustle.
People do go like 1k to 10k under price, depending on the item's original price, but those get bought up fast.
tbh other sites probably have more users where one person can't screw over the entire economy by underpricing 10 Morty Cards to 900k.
We understand rounding down something from 230k to 200k, but not 2.1m to 900k, especially if it's one use only.
