If someone used a gold totem and started subscribing would it stack or would it take away the totems amount?

Any active GA time you have when you start a subscription should pause for the duration of your subscription. So if you subscribe for one month with paused GA time and then cancel, your paused time will kick back in when that one month of subscription time ends
