I am unsure if this topic is being posted to the right place, so please let me know if I need to move it. I was offered a Merana quest when she showed up on my explore map. I did not do it, but don't know if I quit the quest or not. Do I need to wait for her to show on the map again? I actually do have a pet I want to transform to Hydrus at this point and don't know if the prior interaction with Merana will interfere with seeing her again. Is there a way to check? Do I just keep refreshing the explore map in hopes she shows up again?

Thank you for any help you can give. I took a hiatus for years and the last time I played, Merana was still in Omen Islands lol, I didn't have to hunt for her.

She was freed from Omen Islands and now shows up randomly on the explore map, usually near the start of the month. There is a Ping group for when she shows up.

Coda Caves are around the 6th of every month.

I do not know if there is a link to Merana when she is off the map.

Oh I see. Where can I find the ping group?

It's a Forum Group. You join and you can get pings on your event bar.
Above the heading of Forum Pulse, there's smaller links. The GROUPS link is where there are a lot of things that are search-able, but not all are active. ^_^
