So I sent in my pet and it didn't come back? I guess I should have researched what the rift did before sending her...

She's still on my profile, but it now says the owner is the Rift... what exactly does this mean?

Your pet will come back within a couple of days c: She'll either be the Riftborn color or turn into an RA-001 or RA-002 pet but she isn't permanently gone

well since I don't see her species type as a riftborn pet... I'm assuming she's going to come back as some hideous creature... can I use a potion on her to make a normal species again? this is a rather big oopsie on my part

Yep, an elixir will still change her species and you can use a potion or whatever from there c:
