I know there was something in the past posted here https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/926639/CSC-in-CW-shops-not-calculating-correctly

But, this issue is still going on. Users are still losing out on profits made from CW sales.

Posting here to just add to the list of those who are affected by this.

I have resorted to locking my items with a password and sending invitations just so I can keep track of copies and who bought what. With the CW sale coming up in about 3 weeks time, this isn't exactly the most practical when there will be many people who aren't active in the CW forums to participate in the sale and they don't know where to ask for an invitation to locked CWs.

If you want us to keep track, that is a lot harder than it sounds. We have no other logs besides our notification sidebar to even keep track of sales. Do we have to resort to writing our initial csc somewhere at the start of every release? At the very least, please allow us to track our CW sales properly via the csc transaction log in the cash shop. I am terribly disappointed that this issue still persists a year later and the only solution is on us releasers to write down our csc amounts and keep track of every single copy. This involves the site's income. Be better.

Hello: I have a suggestion to improve CW tracking. I recently was missing CSC from a CW sale. Is there any way of creating a log where we can see when and the amount paid of CWs sold besides the event notification bar? I know there is a log for purchases in the Cash Shop. I don’t even care if trades were added to the log or not because most of the time I have post or mail for those.

I have been affected by this and it makes me nervous for cw sales. This affects not only selling cws but also purchasing cws. Having a possible delay in earning our profits will slow down the purchasing process as well. We will not be making purchases if our csc is miscalculated and we have an open ticket. This issue will be affecting not only users but the site if people are afraid to buy. I hope that there can be a resolution to this. Honestly I thought this had been fixed until I recently noticed that I had not received my profits and filed a ticket.

I’m so disappointed to find out that this was never fixed when we were made to believe it was. Who knows how many profits each releaser has lost? How many more releasers/users do we need to lose before important things on this site will get fixed?

I agree with Star, please give us logs for our shops. Especially if these issues aren’t going to be fixed. We need an easier way to keep track of where our profits and on hand csc should be.

We all, as releasers, spend a lot of money on the designs and recolors we buy. We deserve all of our profits.

I’m tired of staying quiet. Please fix this.

Yes, we need some kind of log to show us what people buy and when. We SHOULD NOT be the ones who have to keep track of each sale is made in our CW shop. This is real money we are talking about. Please do better Subeta

Help me math here. Started out with 711 csc. Sold 5 copies of the vase, 1k csc. Sold 6 copies of the kitsune bells. 1200 csc profit. So please show me where 2200 + 711 csc equals 2700 csc? If Im making mistake in counting or anything please point it out. Unfortunately for me I stupidly deleted my earlier events and can only do the math via the number sold in the directory. The fact that there is NO LOG for us to verify sales is unacceptable.

This is akin to selling things and not giving anyone a receipt for their purchase. I pay real money for csc to use to submit items on this site. The fact that csc goes missing for so many people and has NOT been addressed for so long is sickening.

I get being short staffed, I really do. I work retail and right now we are a six man play running a department meant to be run by ten people. But never would I fail to address a customer's concerns in this way.

We have a log for everything else, why not sales? You guys have it for cash shop purchases. Can't we be given the same kind of tracking? Stop working on arts and crafts stuff for the site, it's not necessary. Please fix this issue as it's now starting to spread and you can't sweep this under the rug anymore.

To hell with the "you track it on your own" crap. As if I have nothing to do except sit here and count every single bit of csc I should expect to get. Tracking events during events like Masq is a mess. I'm sorry for the rant but the thought that I could be missing so much csc from sales is aggravating.

It's sad to say but Subeta staff have continually failed to show any meaningful care for their customers. I don't mean to insult any one employee, but it is disgraceful. Subeta is nothing without its users. I'm glad to see users publicly complaining; it's the only way Subeta will ever do anything. The way Subeta is run is unacceptable.

What bugs me the most is staff actively HID this. They know it was happening but told people NOT to make threads which to me seems like they wanted to hide it from the majority of releasers who didn’t already know. Shady. Just so shady. I love Cws and continue to release them but it’s the things like this that made me cancel my subscription. I trust the artists I work with and will gladly pay them but right now I can’t trust subeta and that makes me so sad.

I was also affected by this and told to keep track myself. Its pretty disconcerting that in 2023 it has come to this truly. I am pretty sure I am down way way more csc over the year than even fathomable and there is no way to track it as I only knew of this issue in the last month or so. I really hope this is addressed and fixed as soon as possible.

I was affected by this some months ago, thankfully not in the last weeks, but I fear for the Luminaire time when sales go up.

I also encountered an incident years ago when my CSC counter went backwards instead of counting.

Both times, I felt like a beggar when I had to file a ticket and ask for a refund because there was no log and it always feels a bit shady when you haven't an exact proof to show you are legit to your request.

Staff was very nice about it when answering my tickets, that's not the point, and I appreciate this very much!

But there is always the ghost of suspicion we could have fabricated the amount of missing CSC when we don't have evidence. So I would love to see a tracking function for both of us, Subeta and players.

I had no idea this was happening. I don't sell a ton of CW but on occasion some one buys something from my shop. How long should I have been keeping tabs and doing math? Why hasn't this been an announcement/news post to at least tell me it was something I should be doing?? I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed. Really there's no excuse.

Uh.. yikes. I haven't been keeping track so I have literally no idea whether or not I was affected by this which is really disconcerting as I recently released something that sold quite a few copies. I don't always watch every single penny in my NC and now I need to be doing that? That's not great at all and it's really disappointing that there has not been an announcement or anything from staff. This affects a lot of folks real money, that is not cool at all.

Okay, come on. I just two days ago made a post asking about if people tracked their sales. It didn't even occur to me before I went on hiatus, and I run such a tiny CW shop. But I did make sales while I was gone, and all I have to show me how many sales, are sidebar events. Disappointing, but not outside of expectations for Subeta.

But hearing this error could still be happening seemingly at random, and there's no way to tell unless I had been online tracking all of that CSC myself? We don't even have a CW shop bank or anything, they're just added to our total CSC on hand. All I can do is shrug and hope it hasn't affected me.

This on top of issues buying CSC with paypal... Well, I knew Subeta has been a bubblegum and paperclip operation for years, and I've kept my subscription active this entire time even through some really hard times this year, but I'm surprised that even the premium currency/CW aspect of the site has parts being neglected. I'm starting to get anxious Subeta is on its way out.

exactly this. i don't keep track of my csc (i'm bad at remembering stuff) and i close my sale notifs when i get them; i have no way of knowing if this affected me too. someone bought quite a few recolours of one item a couple days ago and i'm very grateful, but how do i know that all got added to my csc without me second guessing myself about what i had spent vs. what i earned?

i moved most of the csc on hand to the vault via csc cards at the moment, but come on, that's not a solution. i hope staff actually does something about this.

Hi everyone. I just want you to all know I'm aware of this issue. Unfortunately the ability to fix it is way beyond me since I don't know any programming. I've let the people that hopefully can troubleshoot it know before and I have again, but I want to assure you that it's not being ignored by me. I'm doing what I can 💔

i mean in all honestly, this issue isn’t you. At all. And anyone that blames you (if anyone does) is misguided. As you said you don’t know programming and cannot fix the issue but to know you’re aware of it and poking people who can fix it is at least even a bit reassuring that at least someone on staff cares.

Because right now it feels like you’re the only one who cares about cws at all. Many people have lost thousands yet been basically told to hide this from other users and that just feels so shady.
