Item Hunt's pretty simple. You're asked for an item, you purchase it and bring it back, get some sP in return. You can play it up to 5 times a day. You'll almost always lose a little sP at first, then hit a sweet spot where you get profit almost every time. At some point in the higher levels, you'll be asked to get an item that's VERY expensive, and you'll have to decide if you want to keep progressing in the game, or quit and start all over.

If you get to the last level of Item Hunt and finish the game, you'll get a lovely Swashbuckle for your trouble, but - fair warning - you also can never play the game again.

It's up to you to decide if that's worth it or not.
