So, as a hypothetical question, let us assume there is a player who has decided to stop playing Subeta, but would like to gift away their items and sP, instead of letting it sit in their unused account till the death of our star, or an apocalypse wipes out civilization as we know it. Are there rules about this? Would said player be able to pick out another player at random and mass gift them years' worth of items? Should it be sprinkled out into the community? A contest or mass giveaway perhaps? Please note that this is hypothetical at this time. It is also not a reflection of my feelings towards Subeta in any way. I always have enjoyed Subeta, and think the community and the site are wonderful.

EDIT: Also, in this hypothetical question, the account itself would not be given away, as that is against the rules. Just thought I should clarify.

It's allowed. One can give away items and sp to others. They can even make a topic I the giveaway forums to let others know and people can be chosen that way.

You can choose to gift one or many. Or shuck it all into DC and let luck decide. Or keep it. Some users pare down to what they wish to keep in case they come back too
