Hey, friends! I have a few Pet Zapper related questions. I've been zapping the snot out of one of my pets, hoping and praying to get a Darkonite. Then I realized you can zap your pet without paying the randomizing 400,000sP. To get a Darkonite, do you need to pay for a random outcome? Also, when I zapped her without paying, it gave her a few levels in strength. What does zapping without paying do?

using on your pet will turn her into a darkonite :) The zapper is completely random chance, you're equally as likely to get an angelic Chelon as you are a common Darkonite.

The 400,000 sP option will only ever turn your pet into an experiment, so you can't get a Darkonite from that option at all. Zapping without paying the 400k has the chance to turn your pet into a different color or species, add or remove stats, change their gender, change their minion, or change the first item in your inventory into a cube or dust. A Darkonite elixir is definitely the easier way to get one though if that's the only thing you're zapping for c:

just to be clear, angelic is one of the colors you actually can't get from the zapper at all.
